Hot or cool: The gals in Gargi were stage-shy and when the show began many refused to come on stage. This was a case of extremes though, because when they did come on stage, they pleaded with their audience, “Please vote for me, please, please, please!” Some of the requests were paid heed to and others were rejected outright. Sample this – Bhaygashree came on stage and said, “I am really cool, vote for me, people.” However, her college mates thought otherwise and booed her out. Sampada said, “I am the perfect combination of beauty and brains, so choose me.” She was dismissed too! The girls were looking for a hot gal with loads of cool attitude.

Just two songs?: After eleven girls were selected, emcee Kanishk threw the floor open for everybody. Just like other colleges, dancing remained the hot favourite in the talent round. DJ Sumit Sethi decided to play only Beedi... and Hips Don’t Lie in the talent round. Both being zippy numbers, the girls agreed at first but soon got bored and requested the DJ to change. Sumit couldn’t refuse the pretty girls and obliged them all. Megha Sharma’s dance on Kajre Re got her into the final round and she also bagged the title of Ms DT.
Ganpat was a hit: Gargi girls were longing to see someone groove on Ganpat and Niharika gave in to their request. Niharika, Sadhna, Swapnil and Megha made it to the final round.
During the final round, there was some confusion, as the principal walked in and the music was stopped, only to be played later at a lower volume.
